Wonderland egg hunt

The City of Hendersonville & Hendersonville Parks, Hendersonville High School, & Historic Rock Castle proudly present the annual Wonderland Egg Hunt!
Due to construction beginning this Spring, we will not be hosting the Wonderland Egg Hunt in 2024.
We look forward to seeing all our friends back in Wonderland in future!
If you would like to host your own Wonderland celebration, we recommend reaching out to Character Visits 4U and requesting a visit from the Red Queen, Mad Hatter, and Alice!
This event is FREE and includes egg hunts, crafts, games, face painting, and bounce houses! We will also have concessions available with a great assortment to choose from!
How to make the most of your Wonderland Egg Hunt experience
**** There will be traffic. Carpool. Arrive Early. You won't be bored, we promise! *****
Bring your basket or bag! We have 115,000 eggs. You’re going to need something to put them in!
Concessions will be available. Cash or card is accepted.
There are different egg hunts for each age group. **older children will not be allowed in a hunt for a younger age group. This is to protect the littler ones’ experience. Younger kiddos may join a hunt for an older age group.**
Egg hunts will begin at the designated times and not a second later. Please allow 30-45 minutes for traffic, parking, and walking to the Castle.
Parking. We will have on site parking on a first come first serve basis.
Crafts, games, and face painting are provided by Hendersonville High School, HHS SkillsClubUSA and HHS National Art Honor Society. Bounce houses are provided by Ultimate Party Super Store.
Dogs are not allowed at the Wonderland Egg Hunt. We love our furry guests, and welcome them at some of our other events, but do not allow them at this event as many children are afraid of dogs, and we just want to make sure everyone has a great experience!

1:30pm -- Toddlers up to 6 years old
3:00pm -- 7 - 12 years old

Mad Hatter Tea Parties
Join us for a VIP Mad Hatter Tea Party in the Rock Castle Woodlands with very special Wonderland guests!
We can celebrate our Un-Birthday's together with tea and snacks and Wonderland games!
VIP Tea Party Times:
12:30 - 1:30pm ~
2:00 - 3:00pm ~
$45/first child, $40/each additional

** Tickets are Non-refundable & Non-transferable
** This is an interactive theater type experience. Only the Participant and up to 2 Accompanying Adults are permitted into the Tea Party area. All children (including siblings) must have a ticket to be admitted. Babies and toddlers who do not have tickets must remain in a stroller or held by a parent in the parent seating area at all times during the event. If a child is disruptive to the experience, the parent will be asked to take them out of the Woodlands area, to preserve the experience of all participants.

Crafts, Games & Bounce Houses
Join us before or after your egg hunt for games and activities provided by our Rock Castle & HHS volunteers, & bounce houses provided by Ultimate Party Rentals!
Then head over to the Pavilion for some whimsical Wonderland-themed crafts to take home and remember your time down the rabbit hole at Rock Castle!
