The CASTLEGRASS PASS provides guests access to the full festival experience, including Rock Castle’s Bluegrass Jam on Friday, September 25th AND Saturday, September 26th. The Castlegrass Pass also grants pass-holders access to the Grateful Ball on Friday night (September 25th). The Grateful Ball is a limited seating beer garden experience in the whimsical Rock Castle Woodlands that includes craft beer from Half Batch Brewing, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a private post-festival tribute to the Grateful Dead by one of the biggest names in Bluegrass music (TBA in late August).

GRATEFUL BALL ( Friday, September 25th)

— Doors open at 9:30

— Grateful Ball (tribute to the Grateful Dead by one of Bluegrass Music’s most celebrated bands)

— Gates open at 2:30

— DownRiver Collective (3:30 to 4:30 pm)

— Henhouse Prowlers (5:00 to 6:00 pm)

— Junior Sisk (Farewell Tour) (6:30 to 7:40 pm)

— Headlining Band (8:10 to 9:30) - Headliner will be announced in late August

— Bluegrass Jam ends (9:30 pm)

Note: The Grateful Ball is a 21 AND UP event

In the event of rain, The Grateful Ball will be moved inside Lakeview Hall (Rock Castle’s new event center).
